Cognitive Neuroscience

I spend some of my time teaching psychology. Because it's a wet morning and a student of mine, late of this parish, is elsewhere, I thought that I might take a little time to direct you to this neat article on salon.com.

It has something of the air of a Marx Brothers spoof given the names, but purports to discuss whether anyone can ever really know their own thoughts with any degree of validity. It seems appropriate for blogland on a wet Friday, anyway.

If you are timewasting, here's another great site to do so at. It's a page for those of a skeptical bent that is also quite funny, and which throws an interesting light on some news stories. It's called Museum of Hoaxes in case the link doesn't work.

I hope you are enjoying the new year!
