Does anyone now doubt that the 'PUMA' people are anything but a republican front? PanaMcCainiac has picked Dan Quayle with a repeated chronosome and a muffler to shuffle towards fiscal collapse and war beside him. Let's see what happens. Alaska is a sort of frozen version of Louisiana and Arkansas when it comes to corruption, and so Keynesian it pays people to live there. Palin is under investigation for abusing power, and I'd be amazed if there weren't skeletons in the closet.

But, hey, she's a woman with a gun who looks good. That's all the tokenism the American media will need to avoid the issue.

A Jacksonian Republican Party Democrats in the United States frequently lay claim to the heritage of Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson. They present the two as tribunes of the revolutionary people, and Jefferson-Jackson dinners are often occasions at which aspiring candidates can strut their demotic stuff, as it were.
